Much to our surprise, we get many clients requesting us to get A.C.E. merchandise. On March 17th 2018, it was our first time getting A.C.E. merch as we headed out to Yes24 Live Hall for A.C.E.'s 1st Fan Meeting concert.
When we got to the merch line an hour before they opened, it was already quite a long line! We waited a few hours to get through the line and after multiple purchases, we were able to get all requested items before they sold out!
A few months later in June 2018, for A.C.E.'s debut album, Adventures in Wonderland, a client requested us to apply for their fansigns. It's always a risk to enter fansigns in Korea since they only accept 100-150 people to attend, but we luckily got into their fansigns for 3 separate days! WOW!
We helped to translate the conversations and post-it questions and A.C.E. members were quite friendly BUT we have to admit that A.C.E.'s agency was very restrictive on how we can get signed pages for other people. They were so strict that they even checked our passport to make sure we weren't getting it signed for another person. It's SO rare to see this happen for fansigns as most K-pop agencies don't mind you getting pages signed for other people. But, these days they may be getting strict in order to be more fair for other attendees.
Anyway, we are always to help get signed albums for clients but it's definitely a bit challenging depending on how strict the agencies. But, overall fansigns are a fun experience!
For A.C.E. fansigns, their fans give them LOTS of head pieces to wear such as a potted plant, mushroom, flower crowns, hamburger, and even made them dress up as doctors and Harry Potter LOL. And at the end of the fansign, they performed two songs, Dessert and Take Me Higher, which is not typical to do at fansigns so it was a nice treat!
A.C.E. is doing so well for their first year out and we look forward to helping more clients for A.C.E related goods in the future!
